Jaw Surgery

Orthodontic treatment can sometimes be more than just straightening your teeth. A small percentage of people have a mismatch in the size or alignment of their upper and lower jaw. Problems such as these can result in speech, breathing problems, tooth wear, jaw joint problems, problems chewing/eating and uneven facial proportions.

In cases where standard orthodontics alone isn’t enough, a combined orthodontic/surgical approach might be the ideal treatment. If this is the case, we’ll refer you to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for an evaluation before finalising the ideal treatment plan for you.
